RobotOS. The layer every dental robot plugs into.

Robots are coming to dentistry. The hard part will not be the robot. It will be the practice around it: the records, the diary, the plan, the checks and the data coming back. RobotOS is how we intend to become the partner robotics companies rely on to make that work, practice after practice.

03 · RobotOS · Long-term vision

A robot amplifies whatever practice it lands in. So the practice has to be right first.

Putting AI on a broken process doesn't fix it. It produces a poor solution that looks well engineered. Surgical robotics in dentistry is the same. If bookings, scheduling, patient records and case planning aren't done properly, a robot arriving in the surgery won't solve those problems. It inherits them.

That is why ImplantOS and PracticeOS come first. They get the everyday foundations down to a T, in a way that works the same in every practice and scales. RobotOS is the final step: the layer that connects a well-run practice to robotic systems, built in partnership with robotics companies rather than as a robot of our own.

A robot in a practice without the foundations

  • Records incomplete or scattered, so the robot's plan is built on gaps
  • No reliable diary for robot time, staff and consumables
  • Readiness checked by memory on the day
  • No outcome data flowing back, so nothing improves

A robot in a practice running on Offload

  • Every case complete, versioned and approved before surgery
  • Robot time, team and parts scheduled like any other resource
  • Readiness checked automatically before each case
  • Results logged against the plan, case after case
What a robot needs from a practice

Five things no robotics company wants to build, clinic by clinic.

01

A complete digital case

CBCT, scans and the approved plan, versioned and checked. From ImplantOS.

02

Robot time in the diary

The robot, the team and the consumables scheduled like any other resource. From PracticeOS.

03

Readiness checks

Every precondition confirmed automatically before each case starts.

04

Consent and audit

Patient consent, approvals and every step logged for regulators and insurers.

05

Outcomes back to the record

Results logged against the plan, so robot and practice both improve case after case.

Result

Practices that are alike

The same record, formats and checks in every site, which is what lets a robot work the same way everywhere.

Why we become critical infrastructure

By the time robots arrive, we're already running the practice.

For robotics companies
  • One integration reaches every practice on Offload, instead of a custom project per clinic
  • Cases arrive complete and approved, so the robot isn't working from gaps
  • Faster, safer deployments, and outcome data to prove the robot works
For practices
  • Readiness is already in place: no rebuilding systems to adopt a robot
  • Free to choose the robot that suits them, on the same foundations
  • The clinician stays in charge of every clinical decision

That is the position we're building towards: the default operating layer between dental practices and the robotic systems they adopt, so that putting a robot into a practice runs through Offload.

We have no robotics partnerships today. We are not building a robot. RobotOS is a long-term plan that depends on ImplantOS and PracticeOS being in place first.

How partnerships will work

Partners bring the robot. We bring the ready practice.

01

Standard interface

A documented way for any robotic system to receive the approved case and report back.

02

Readiness programme

Practices on Offload certified as ready before a robot is installed.

03

Joint pilots

First deployments run together, in practices that already have the foundations.

04

Shared evidence

Outcome data that both sides, and regulators, can rely on.
